I did not have time to sit and eat inside, so this Review is based on my pizza. Ordered (via phone) a small size white pizza: sausage, green pepper and mushrooms; garlic/oil "sauce". Got back home and there was still steam coming from the hot box - nice. The crust is thin. Crispy, almost. Man, the toppings were spot-on! Loaded with tinier-sized sausages. Tons of pep and shrooms. I was in heaven already! First bite? Scrumptious. Mozzarella cheese caked on. The flavors melded together like ice cream and a hot brownie! Sausage has a bit of spice to it - the perfect amount for me! This pizza did not have an oily top, either. I'm interested to try more dishes on this joint's menu. Or, another pizza will do the trick, I'm sure!

This place is seriously delicious. If you like wings, their sauces are amazing. I'm a fan of their garlic, BBQ, and Garlicky Hot - and of course extra crispy. The deep friend pickles also have a thin but tasty batter I've never experienced before. Well-mannered, courteous staff. Warm atmosphere and never disappointed unless we have to wait!!!

I've been meaning to come here for a long time, but the location and hours conspired against me. Today we happened to be in Canal Winchester, so figured we would try it out. Heck, it's even a haul from CW. It is way out of the way even when you're down this way. It's a nice place though: big, with a nice patio, and a welcoming interior. Very much a sports bar feel. The starter was a letdown: stale popcorn. But service was great, and the rest of the meal was pretty good. We talked about the BLT pizza, an apparent regional specialty, but passed this time. I was there for the ribs, and Sweetie had a personal pepperoni pizza. Her pizza was fine overall, but both of us thought that while the pepperonis were great the crust was very bland. My half slab came with good coleslaw and decent fries. The ribs were of the saucy, "fall off the bone" type, but among the best example of it that I have had. The sauce was quite good, flavorful and slightly spicy. The meat itself actually had good smoky flavor. And while eating meat that barely stays on the bone is difficult and even more messy than with most ribs, this was still "toothsome" as I call it, with a bit of resistance to it. I enjoyed them and would have them again. Prices are good, as are portions. If I lived nearby I'd come once in awhile. As it is, maybe on a visit to the Hocking Hills or something; it's a heck of a haul.

We went there last evening on A Friday and it was very busy. The service workers were very nice and prompt. The ribs were very dry, the bun on my fried bologna sandwich was very dry and I could not eat it. There must be nothing to do in Canal Winchester because the place was packed but the food was not exceptional in fact not good. I wanted this to be good so the management must make sure the food is prepared perfectly. I was very disappointed having driven from Waverly. Please take this as constructive criticism and fix these things ! I seriously wanted the food to be great! My mother and her sisters were all excellent cooks so I know when I am getting a good meal!

Great gluten free pizza and ribs. Husband also enjoys the spaghetti. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Also you get free popcorn as an appetizer. One of my favorite places to eat.

Their food is great. Wings are amazing. Pizza could be better. The crust on the pizza plain sucks. Very cheap but so thin you can't pick up a piece without dropping all your toppings. The toppings are amazing though. Some of the best around beings are the best I've had too. But the crust on the pizza just turns the place off for me when I want pizza.

Took advantage of a groupon to take the in-laws to Kingy's since they live in Pickerington. It's set up like a sports bar, but it's relatively quiet so family friendly. Plenty of TVs but they're too small, so you can't really see the scores of the games. The beer list is so-so. Could use more microbrew. We ordered the pretzel bites, Mexican pizza, Kingy's Special Pizza, and Kingy's All the Way pizza. The pizza toppings are good, but the crust and sauce are relatively low on flavor. I thought they skimped on the cheese as well. So if you get a fully loaded pizza like the Kingy's All the Way, you'll like it. But if you got a plain cheese pizza, you might not be as satisfied. I thought the pretzel bites were good, but my wife was disappointed that the nacho cheese is the artificial store bought type... Overall though, the food here is very reasonably priced, so I can see why this place is relatively popular among the locals in Pickerington.

Great neighborhood hang out. Nice menu, big bar. A welcome place in the otherwise barron area in south end of Pickerington.

Great bar food! The best I've had. Been eating here for years and I've never been disappointed. I recommend the drummies. Very good. Can't go wrong with the pizza or the ribs either.

Read the reviews here and on google and with the ratings so high, I had to give it a try. My son and I decided to use a groupon for the first time, so it took the sting out of things a bit. First, their MT Dew tasted like diet, she said they changed it and brought a new one out and it still tasted diet, I think what happened was they are using more carbonated water than the mix calls for, maybe to save on syrup. My son has a BBQ sub and he said it was just ok, that he had tasted better. The pizza was really not great, I ate it but id never order it again. Sure, it had quite a bit of cheese and pepperoni on it, but it just did not have any real flavor, nothing to make me say "mmm this is good". The free popcorn was a nice touch, service was slow and it was really not busy at all.

First time here and I think it was AWESOME!!! The service time was relatively quick, the food was great for the price, and the Kingy Chips were EXCELLENT! I really can't wait to go back. Cool Features: - They have their own drive-thru - It's got the feel of an old-time pub - Lots of different ppl that come in - Huge glasses for fountain drinks I definitely RECOMMEND!

Been to Kingy's so many times I can't count! I will say the pizza has gone downhill slightly but still a very good bar pizza. Kingy's is very family friendly and the patio is great in the summer months. The Ribs and buffalo chips are two of the biggest hits along with a cold beer!

Has Gluten free pizza but just the good old everyone has it kind. BUT their toppings and cheese make it better.

Had lots of folks tell me about this place. They have a great menu and the pizza was worth trying. The pizza is thin, good sauce, looks good/taste good. I am picky so I don't 'krave' this pizza but its worth trying. Solid C, maybe B-

Kingy's is one of my favorites, most likely because I grew up going to it when it was still on the other side of 33. Great pizza and the Kingy's ale is always a delight to drink.

Kingy's is a solid spot and one of my favorite places to hang out. The pizza is awesome, super thin cracker crust with great sauce and toppings. I usually always go with the Kingy's All the Way pizza with everything on it, but any one of their pizzas are amazing. The menu also has a host of other pub style foods to choose from that are great as well such as the wings, friend pickles, jalapeno bottle caps, and Kingy's chips to name a few. From about 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM this place is packed, and I mean packed on the weekends. They have a large parking lot and it can be hard to find a spot sometimes. I suggest calling ahead when you leave and asking what the wait is and having them put you on the list. I have done this several times and it lessens the wait and in many cases your table is ready shortly after you arrive depending on how far you drive is. The atmosphere is very casual and family friendly. It is also a great place to hang out with a group and drink some cold draft beer and eat some piping hot pizza. They can accommodate larger groups on their patio that they can enclose in the winter and heat to continue using the space. The family that owns the place also operates a large drive through on the property as well in a separate building. The place is widely popular with the local crowd and has a bit of a cult following. They have won many awards for their pizza, wings, and ribs at local and national festivals. The place is just an all around good time with great food. They also serve complementary popcorn while you wait. A great place to hang out with your family and friends.

Good hang out for drinks with friends but to me the food is just average. Nothing stands out and you can get the same taste elsewhere.

I've been going here off and on since I was a teenager and it was in it's old location. I have to say that it is a top notch pizza and more place! Service is always super fast (seriously- I think they run) and super friendly. It is populated with attractive servers and staff, great food and friendly people. Portions are large. Adding mushrooms doesn't mean just 10 pieces on a small. I have a TON of food allergies and they are always super happy to accommodate. The menu has lots of options so, as a family, everyone is happy. Arcade games make the kids beg to go there. Cold drafts make my husband happy to oblige. Patio is awesome. Owners are on site and the place is clean and super efficient. Very impressive locally owned business!

Pizza is great!! But if you're not in the mood for pizza, the pulled pork sandwich is terrific!!!! Toasted bun that doesn't cut the crap out of the roof of your mouth. Friendly and very attentive staff.

Canal Winchester has very few places to watch a game and grab a well priced beer. Kingy's offers great drink prices and plenty of munchies to snack on while watching your favorite team even if you are far from home. When I stopped in they changed the game so I could watch the Indians play even though most of the bar was watching the Reds game. If I'm in the neighborhood on another trip and need to wet my whistle I'll be sure to grab a pitcher of beer and some pizza at Kingy's.

Kingy's is a bit of a southeast side legend in the making. They place is always packed to the gills in the evenings (and that's with its weird, tough-to-find location). And recently it was named the fourth most-successful independent pizza shop in the country. Yes, that's a mouthful, but think about that for a second. Fourth in the country. Somehow after living in Columbus for a while now, I had never visited Kingy's. So my wife and I endeavored to go with some friends who were more acquainted with Kingy's ways. The ambiance is pretty much that of a bar and grill or sports bar. Pizza is their big thing, thus the name. But they also have sandwiches, entrees, "almost famous" ribs and lots of sides and appetizers. We went to the restaurant early and things weren't too busy yet. After a brief but windy run-in with an overly active fan on the patio, we settled on indoor seating. Tables all receive complimentary bowls of fresh-ish popcorn to start (a little chewy, but flavorful). My wife and I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza, a half rack of ribs and a wheat beer brewed specially for Kingy's. The ribs were almost absurdly fall-off-the-bone tender. They were quite tasty, very meaty and drenched in sauce (just the way I like them). The pizza was fair. In the place of any sort of tomato sauce was hot sauce. It was a little overwhelming. The chicken was also a little tough. The crust was perfectly crispy and cracker-like, though. The beer was very good as well. With their large menu, we'll be sure to go back to Kingy's for something new soon.
